Get your business phone number
Pick a local number for your shop, and how it's paid for with credits.
Your CrewRobin number is your shop's own line. Calls you make show it as caller ID. Calls to it ring on the screen of everyone on your team who has CrewRobin open. The setup guide walks you through this when you first sign up, but you can do it any time.
Pick a number
- Open Calls in the sidebar and click Phone number.
- Type a 3-digit area code (for example, the one your customers already know) and click Search numbers.
- Click Buy next to the number you like.
- Check the price in the box that opens, then click Buy for … credits.
If nothing comes up, try a nearby area code.
How it's paid for
- The number costs a set number of credits every 30 days. The page shows the exact amount before you buy.
- The first 30 days are charged the moment you buy it. After that it renews on its own. You'll see the date under Next renewal.
- Call minutes come out of the same credits and are billed by the second.
If your balance is too low when the number renews, it shows Payment due. Add credits within 7 days or the number is released and you may not get it back. Click Add credits right on that page.
Before your first call
Click Open the dialer and allow your browser to use the microphone. You talk through your computer, so a headset helps. See Make and take calls in your browser.
Already have a number your customers call? Keep it, and forward it to your new one: Keep your existing number.
Don't need the number anymore? Release number gives it back right away. Days you've already paid for aren't refunded.
