Emergencies, service area and the prices the receptionist gives
Tell the receptionist what counts as an emergency, where you work and what to quote.

Emergencies
Under Your business, Emergencies sets what happens with no heat, an active leak, a gas smell, sparking or no power: Book the earliest open slot, or Transfer the call to the owner (your cell phone, which has to be filled in). For a gas smell, the receptionist first tells the caller to leave the house and call the gas company or 911.
Service area
Service area (ZIP codes) lists the ZIPs you serve. End one with * for a whole prefix. Callers outside it are told you don't serve their area, and the receptionist offers to take a message. Leave it empty to book anywhere.
Job types and prices
Under Job types, click Add job type or Edit. The Length is how long a visit is booked for. The price range (Price from and Price to) is the only price the receptionist ever gives, and it always adds that the technician confirms the price on site.
Saving these updates the receptionist on the phone line straight away.
