Online bookings become jobs

Your service-calls page asks for a phone, the address and permission to text. Each booking lands on your jobs board.

Updated September 28, 2026

Your receptionist's booking link (the one in missed-call texts) opens your service-calls page. Customers pick a job type and a time, then fill in Your name, Mobile phone, Service address and ZIP code. Email is optional, and What's going on? becomes the job's problem.

The booking becomes a job under Jobs, assigned to the tech who got the slot, and you get a text just like a phone booking.

Permission to text

Under the form is a box, unticked, where the customer agrees to appointment texts from your business. Carriers require this before you text someone who hasn't texted you first.

  • Ticked: they get a confirmation text now and a reminder the day before. The date and time they agreed are saved on their customer record.
  • Not ticked: no texts. You still get the job, and they get an email if they gave one.

What the page refuses

A ZIP code outside your service area gets "we don't serve that ZIP code, please call us". If online booking is paused, customers are asked to call.
